CNN Sports

May 2021 to November 2021

My interest in storytelling both for print and video joined together when in 2021, I got hired by CNN Sports as an intern, working as a video editor and producer. This experience taught me to thrive in fast-paced environments while upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism. My main tasks was editing videos but I also pitched a couple of stories ideas which ended up to get commissioned and published on the CNN website. Some of my videos were also streamed on CNN Television and their social media platforms. My tenure included contributing to our team’s SJA Award for Best Digital Sport Publisher, highlighting my commitment to excellence in multimedia content creation and storytelling.

“If you think that that is easy, we are doing our job fine,” 25-year-old Italian artistic swimmer Giorgio Minisini tells CNN Sport. “If you see that we are struggling, that we are making difficult things, maybe we are missing something.”
