The River (print) and RiverOnline (website) are the Kingston University's award-winning publications which aim to keep KU students from all faculties and campuses informed and tell their stories.

Stefania undertook the role of Features Editor during her stint in the River newsroom, which involved finding and commissioning stories to write. Every Monday her role was to go through the features list during the news conference. One Wednesday per month was press day where all the group needed to work together making pages with InDesign and send the final product to the printers.

A former Kingston University student has been hospitalised after she came back from Italy with symptoms similar to the new Covid-19 virus.
Alice Zumstein, a business graduate, experienced very acute flu-like symptoms such as a painful sore throat, a cold and high temperature when she returned to the UK after spending a few days with her relatives near Pisa, North Italy.

Kingston University has organised the annual alumni reunions in 15 countries around the world, proving that Kingston really is global.

Kingston University’s Environmental society will aid Kingston Council’s bid of planting 600 trees across the borough in response to the Green Plan pledge.
The newly established society’s presidents will try to get the group involved in the new council’s mission of planting 2,000 additional trees by 2022 and 600 this winter.
